Santa Rosa is from the region of Honduras that borders Nicaragua in the south. Because to its high altitude, regular rainfall, and extremely fertile soil, the El Paraiso region is perfect for cultivating coffee. A lot of highly interesting and nuanced coffee can be created thanks to this combination of environmental influences.
Currently spanning 360 hectares, Mario Segura farms it, providing employment to about 800 locals. The farm is also proud of its cutting-edge wet mill, which processes coffees with or without fermentation and uses a very small amount of water. Throughout the entire production process, from selecting which plots to plant specific coffee varietals to harvesting and drying the coffee, Mario's farm is assisted by a quality control technician.
